The purpose of your voice mail message is to get the caller to leave their name and address. Your message should  state a couple of major benefits and be  under three minutes long.                                                           Now you have the names and addresses of prospects who have shown an interest in your product, or service. You next step is to immediately mail your direct mail response pack to your prospects by first class mail. Your goal here is to close the sale! The prospects you send your first direct mail response pack to are broken down into the following three categories:    1.  A little bit interested -- these are just "lookey lues" and they will not buy. They represent a small percentage of all inquiries.    2.  Very interested and ready to buy -- these prospects are ready to buy NOW. Again, this group represents a small percentage of all inquiries.    3.  Very interested, but not ready to buy -- these prospects are interested, but just aren't ready for your offer right now.
